
Blanca Rosa Blanco
Biography
Blanca Rosa Blanco was born in Havana on February 24, 1972. She graduated from the Faculty of Performing Arts at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) in 1995. During her time as a student at ISA, she participated in various stage productions under the direction of professors and directors. Titles such as "La historia de un antiguo encanto," "Los invitados del rey," and "Ubu Rey," among others, were part of her early student work. She also performed in the classics, including "Lady Macbeth," and later, with the Buscón theater group, she was part of the cast of "Cuentos de amor, humor y muerte" and "La historia de un escaparate."
Blanca Rosa came to television after having honed her talent in the theater, working with renowned theater artists. But it is with the "Irrumpe" company that the actress recognizes her starting point and her end. She has tried her luck as a presenter on the programs 23 and M and Ecos de mujer, on Cuban Television, as well as at the Lucas Awards and the Cubadisco Festival.
