Sanjana Krishnamoorthy is an Indian actress and assistant director who primarily works in the Tamil film and television industry. Born on November 8, 2000, in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, she has quickly established herself as a versatile talent both in front of and behind the camera.Sanjana graduated with a degree in Visual Communication from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai. She initially began her creative journey working as a graphic designer and acting in popular digital sketches for the Awesome Machi YouTube channel.Her major breakthrough came in 2022 when she was cast by Pushkar and Gayatri’s Wallwatcher Films to star in the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime Video crime thriller series Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie. Her performance gained widespread recognition, paving the way for her feature film debut in the hit sports drama Lubber Pandhu (2024).Demonstrating her multi-faceted skill set, Sanjana expanded her career into film production by working as an assistant director under the legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam for his high-profile action film Thug Life.
