Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Samantha Ruth Prabhu (born 28 April 1987) is an Indian actress and producer who works primarily in Telugu and Tamil cinema and has appeared in Hindi streaming projects. She made her acting debut in Gautham Vasudev Menon's romantic drama *Ye Maaya Chesave* (2010), for which she received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South and a Nandi Special Jury Award. In 2012, she became the second actress, after Revathi, to win both the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Tamil for *Neethaane En Ponvasantham* and Best Actress – Telugu for *Eega* in the same year. Her other films include *Dookudu* (2011), *Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu* (2013), *Attarintiki Daredi* (2013), *Kaththi* (2014), *Manam* (2014), *Theri* (2016), *24* (2016), *A Aa* (2016), *Mersal* (2017), *Rangasthalam* (2018), *Mahanati* (2018), *Super Deluxe* (2019), *Majili* (2019), and *Oh! Baby* (2019).

She played Raji in the second season of Amazon Prime Video's spy thriller series *The Family Man* (2021), earning a Filmfare OTT Award. She later appeared in the thrillers *Yashoda* (2022) and *Kushi* (2023), followed by the spy series *Citadel: Honey Bunny* (2024) and *Subham* (2025). She starred in and produced *Maa Inti Bangaaram* (2026) through her production company, Tralala Moving Pictures. She has received four Filmfare Awards South, two Nandi Awards, and six SIIMA Awards. She founded the NGO Pratyusha Support and the women's apparel brand Saaki.
